Two-day workshop: How to work with porcelain and run your own ceramic studio with Natalia Gruszecka - Endeceramics

During this intensive two-day workshop, I will not only show you all the stages of working with porcelain – casting, firing, glazing and decorating – but I will also share my experience of running my own ceramic studio as a full-time artist and designer. I will tell you how I started, how I developed my brand over the years and what I have learned from my successes, failures and endless trials.

The workshop will be practical, but also reflective and developmental - rooted in creative work, exchange of experiences and a full, professional approach to ceramics. In an intimate atmosphere (maximum 3 participants) I will guide you through the entire process of creating with porcelain: from preparing the mold, through casting and retouching, to glazing, decorating with decals and painting with gold.

We will also talk about what is often omitted in classic courses:

– what does everyday work in a ceramics studio look like?

– how to plan production, firings and time,

– how to price your work and how to photograph it,

– how to sell ceramics – both offline and online,

– how to build your own ceramic brand step by step.

For two days, I will be available to answer questions, share technical knowledge, but also personal tips that will help you develop your own workshop – creatively and business-wise.

Who is this workshop for?

For those who want to deepen their skills in working with porcelain, start or develop their own ceramic brand and learn how to run a studio from a practical, technical and business perspective. You don't have to be a professional - the important thing is that you are ready for intensive learning and development.

Presenter:

My name is Natalia Gruszecka and I have been running my own brand Endeceramics for 15 years. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. My works have been presented, among others, during Design Week in Milan and Paris. I specialize in porcelain – one of the most difficult, but also the most beautiful ceramic materials. I also have many years of experience in decorations, including gold painting. Everything I know – I tested in practice, also learning from mistakes. I want to share this experience with you.
